Maggie the Dog needs a home

Maggie has had a lot of turmoil in her young life.  She was in a home that didn't treat her right or socialize her as a puppy and then a wonderful man took her and gave her a loving home and opportunity to be taken care of.  Unfortunately her owner passed away unexpectedly leaving Maggie homeless.  Perhaps due to the unexpected loss of her owner or the lack of learning that other dogs are 'ok' Maggie would do best in a home where she is the only dog.  She is a very affectionate dog but she will need a home that is understanding and calm.  Only older kids that can play and cuddle.  Maggie does great with her housetraining and she loves to cuddle.  She is also very eager to please her humans.  To learn more about Maggie and see if your home might be a good match for her please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the dog adoption application.
